Deepika takes the cake in episode 19

In today's katkate session, Swetha was asked why she is constantly repeating 'if I cry people say I am a drama queen." Swetha clarified that every person is different and she has a lower tolerance for physical pain. When she cried people started accusing her for making a big scene.

This incident happened when they played 'rich and poor' game. Swetha was hurt and she did create a scene that day by threatening to quit. It was evident her outburst was more of disappointment than getting hurt.

Deepika didn't take the situation well and reacted that Swetha's outburst was not genuine and she was 'doing drama.' And Deepika mentioned it more than one occasion. Nothing stays a secret in Bigg Boss house. Deepika's statement reached Swetha's ears. Swetha repeatedly started quoting Deepika and said 'If I cry in pain people will think I am pretending (it's for drama).' Adding fuel to fire, the gossip trio had broken her photo frame and Neethu didn't bother to apologize to her.

Deepika took advantage of the opportunity today and confessed to Swetha that she said it in the heat of the moment without thinking. Swetha and Deepika started beating around the bush, and kind of apologized without saying sorry. That was until Neethu interrupted and took it to a different trajectory.

In my opinion, Deepika came across as very bitchy in the beginning. But after getting to know her better, I feel Deepika can't express her emotions with words well. And she has a problem trying to remember and add right words when she is speaking and her Kannada gets squashed midway. Sometimes, she means one thing and says something entirely different. But one fact remains that her gossip language is intact.

Neethu would have shared the ranks with Deepika for uniting two friends who were quarreling like preteens over a teabag. But, if it was anyone else other than Adi, I would have appreciated her whole heartedly. Neethu is blindly biased when it involves Adi. On the downside, Adi turned out to be a douche bag who would not budge even after Mayur put his foot down and was willing to sort things out with Adi. Seriously I didn't even understand what Mayur said or did, that would affect Adi so much in yesterday's episode. Adi just blew things out of proportion and was sulking like a thumb sucking baby.

Back to Deepika... Kudos for her to getting on the dais and trying to sort out her actions which triggered a reaction from Swetha.

Contestants' performances in first two weeks

06/30/2014 to 07/13/2014 This post is about my synopsis of every contestant after observing them for the first two weeks. I've tried to be as neutral as possible because I have not picked a favorite yet. One day I might like Akul, the next day Srujan, and Aadhi the following day. My liking varies after each episode. Same goes for disliking too, although Neethu gets on my nerves on a daily basis. Akul Balaji Akul, you learning Kannada and talking like you have always known Kannada from birth is commendable. I really appreciate your hard work to become whatever you are right now. But that doesn't mean you are superior over the others. Even when Sudeep stalks to him, Akul acts as if he has been best buddies with Sudeep. He might know Sudeep from outside, but fishing out for favoritism from him isn't going to go well with the audiences like us. Last week it was very evident but he has toned it down this week, which was much watchable. During the weekly lux...

Bigg Boss Caller of the Week

Last two Saturday episodes Bigg Boss has introduced Bigg Boss caller of the week, wherein a common man/woman is given an opportunity to ask a question to the contestant. I personally think they shouldn't. I don't see any advantage behind this inclusion, because it is not adding anything to the entertainment value. The question that has been qualified to ask the house guests is a big joke.      -Asking a question about how not to get nominated to Rohit even after he has mentioned multiple times that he didn't read any book, but just a small article in internet?      -Asking a question to Adi whether he wanted to beat up Rohit or someone else like he mentioned in friday's episode? What is the significance of these questions and how did that help the house guests? or us? Come on Bigg Boss!! Is that all you have got in your kitty? Before anyone who thinks the questions are asked by a common man and Bigg Boss wouldn't know, let me clarify somethin...

Kaushal Manda - A Phoenix raising from the ashes

Last year, when superstar legendary NTR hosted Big Boss Telugu season 1, it felt more like everybody was participating in Seethamma Vaakitlo, not Bigg Boss at any stretch.... Bandhalu, bandhavyalu, thyagalu, gauravalu etc. My husband, a first time Bigg Boss viewer, had to stop me from constantly nagging that this is not the Bigg Boss I had signed up for. What can I say.... after watching all the seasons of the Hindi version and a few seasons of Kannada version, BBT1 didn’t feel like Bigg Boss at all. Nevertheless, I warmed up pretty soon and enjoyed the clean version of that season.   My oh my! This season looks like it has surpassed everyone’s expectations and more. Anyone who has seen Bigg Boss, albeit any language, already know the classic rule 101 of what not to do in Bigg Boss in the first two weeks.  Don’t alienate anyone.  Don’t ignore anyone.  Don’t corner anyone. Ask Gauhar Khan and Gautam Gulati how they won Bigg Boss in their res...
